This flagship store is situated on the second floor of the multi-story building that was built directly across from the former Stop & Shop store. This replacement store embodies the latest design and engineering concepts within the Stop & Shop company.
The overall building and the Stop & Shop space achieved LEED Silver status.

An adaptive reuse of an existing, high traffic, office building complex in Newton. This Stop and Shop premiered the "bfresh" concept designed for smaller markets in urban settings. The design emphasis is placed on "grab and go" items, prepared foods, and fresh produce. This model is geared toward working professionals for the convenience of ready serve meals.

Renovated post and beam structure in the historic seaport district of Boston. The street level, urban market, was developed in an area of mixed commercial and residential uses. This high traffic area, located conveniently near MBTA transit, required strategic planning for daily facility operations, including grocery receiving and waste disposal.

The renovation balances highly coordinated technical engineering with an enhanced customer experience.

Interior renovation of existing supermarket including revised departments, new fixtures and finishes. The renovation included the replacement of a substantial portion of the store’s refrigerated display cases and shelving. All new décor and finishes were also applied. The entry vestibule and front offices were modified to create a new customer seating area and all new floral department. The entire meat prep. department was rebuilt to be an extension
